50 CENT: It's your birthday We gon' party like it's yo birthday

It's my birthday week. For the past several years Ernesto Olivo and I have been celebrating our Leo-ness together. It usually involves live music, several unofficial birthday parties, and too much fun. This year I was surrounded by love and friendship, and received some amazing gifts.

It was, as Ernesto would say, "the BEST birthday ever!"

Birthday week ends on Sunday. I'll spend the last day with the Alamo City Rollergirls taking pictures of them at the Rollercade with my new camera. We'll then finish the night off sipping pomegranate martinis with some buena gente.

This past Wednesday local alt-weekly the San Antonio Current revisited the murder of Brad Will. Friends of Brad Will created a blog and national network for the accountability of his murder. This site is located at http://www.friendsofbradwill.org/. There is a petition you can sign, and updates on the investigation into his death. Donations and signatures are still needed.
